this rare and relatively new mineral, first marketed as "Raspberry Beryl."

Here's an oddity for the quartz
collectors: a terminated crystal showing two dark orbs, where
radioactive inclusions have caused damage to the surrounding lattice.
The quartz crystal is nothing special, but the radiation damage has a
definite "cooleness factor."
