 A rich cabinet specimen of orange pyromorphite from a classic US locality, at a very low price.  Not quite as bright in person.

A double terminated hexagonal corundum crystal on matrix.  The locality may not be accurate.  Gansu Prov. is reported, but it is not certain.  Regardless, it's a pretty good matrix corundum.

A specimen of lepidolite, quartz, and albite containing crystals of rubellite tourmaline.  A very colorful example of stuff from Kunar. 

 

As a completely unrelated side note, the area where this specimen originates has seen some of the heaviest fighting between Taliban and NATO forces in recent months.

A vivianite nodule, split along the center to reveal its contents.  Mullica Hill was the subject of the September-October 1980 issue of the Mineralogical Record, and is the type locality for ferrostrunzite.

A very good miniature of this rare phosphate mineral from the locality that has arguably produced the best scholzite in the world.  There are numerous crystals going in all directions.
