May 31, 2008- Mixed Specimens. 25 specimens from all over the world, including a phosphophyllite, henmilite, assorted Chinese minerals, and others.  Click here to view the specimens!

May 15, 2008-Rhodochrosite! Over 20 rhodochrosite specimens from Uchucchacua, along with a couple rhodonites.  That was initially going to be posted after Tucson, but I decided to wait until after additional specimens arrived from Peru to post the page.  Click here to view the specimens!!

May 4, 2008 Over 70 minerals posted the clearance section!  Click here to view the first new page.

March  5, 2008- (2 PAGES Mixed Minerals.  19 New pieces, mostly from South America, though there are a few surprises as well.  Click here to see the first page.  The second page is of German pitchblende--very rich and rather rare samples from pre-unification era Germany.

February 26, 2008-Chinese Minerals.  I am back from Tucson with many new specimens, and finally have the time to post them all.  The first update includes a selection of Chinese minerals from recent, as well as past finds.

As a side note, I will be posting more minerals throughout the next two weeks- rhodochrosites from Peru, a selection of the now gone Chinese mimetites, and others.  But for now, Click Here to see the latest update!

December 28, 2007-Clearance!  Two pages of minerals, all but a few under $35. Click here to view the specimens,

August 31, 2007-  Mixed Minerals.  I have posted a selection of mixed minerals--some things from China, a few radioactives, as well as a couple rarities and classics.  Please click here to view the specimens.

August 17, 2007-  Pyromorphite!  After carefully assembling a collection of almost 100 pyromorphite specimens over the past two years, I'm putting it up for sale.  There are a lot of very unique pieces here--some date to the last century, and many are nearly impossible to find in any quality.  Most of the major finds of the past few decades are represented in the collection--Les Farges, Cordoba, various Bunker Hill pockets, Daoping etc.  If nothing else, I hope you enjoy the photographs.

There are 4 pages of pyromorphites, organized by continent.    Please click here to view the first page.

July 24, 2007-  Mixed minerals, and reorganized galleries.  Firstly, I have added a new set of minerals to the website, and they can be viewed by clicking here.  I have also removed all sold items from the site, and arranged any remaining specimens based on their continents of origin. Please take the time to visit the galleries, accessible through the menus located on the various pages.  But first, the new speicmens.

July 4, 2007-  Tourmaline!  I have posted over 50 tourmaline specimens from Pakistan and Afghanistan, from single crystals all the way up to a large cabinets.  Click here to view the specimens!

5/16/2007-  A mix of specimens, including Nevada orpiments, various Dal'Negorsk oddities, and some rarities.  Click here to view the specimens!

4/23/2007- Here is a set of aquamarine crystals that I forgot I had...  These are all form a small pocket discovered around a year ago, and all have lightly frosted surfaces that differentiate them from the more typical aquamarines of the region.  In my opinion, this frosted appearance makes them quite beautiful.  Most also have dome terminations.  Click here to see them!

I've also posted a page of pyromorphite specimens that are not for sale at this time.  It's been my on-going project for the last year an a half...and there are still a few more that need to be posted,

2/27/2007- A group of specimens from Tucson 2007. Included are a number of rarities--stannite, zanazzite, khaidarkanite, rheniite as well as several display specimens.  Click here to view the speicmens!

1/14/2007- I am once again posting material from last summer's trip to Pakistan.  This update contains specimens from a recent find of blue apatite, as well as a number of colorless topaz crystals (including some very fine matrix specimens) from a pocket that was opened this summer.  Colorless topaz is unusual for Pakistan, which has long been known for the brown specimens that it produces.  Click here to view the specimens!

12/24/06-  Happy Holidays!  Here's an update of mixed specimens, click here to view them!

12/2/06-  Here is another update of mostly non-Pakistani/Afghan specimens (although there are a few of those included.)  The rest of the update contains some interesting European and South American pieces, a killer benitoite and Uchucchacua silver , as well as several other exceptional specimens.  Click here to view the specimens!

11/26/06-  I am going to take a break from posting Pakistani specimens, and post a set of specimens from a new find of Peruvian realgar.  Although Peru has produced vast amounts of quality orpiment, good realgar is quite rare from that country.  The specimens from this find surpass the relatively new Romanian pieces in terms of color (being deeper, and closer to the Shimen specimens) but display a habit that is distinctive from either of the other two major localities.  Click here to view the specimens!

11/03/06-  Still more items from the summer Pakistan trip.  In this update are two pages containing a number of anatase specimens from southern Baluchistan province, as well as a mixture of Alpine type minerals from Alchuri.  The latter page includes several exceptional specimens of titanite and rutile var. sagenite from a new find in the area, some with schorl/adularia associations.

Click one of the images below to see more of either type!

9/28/06-  Two new pages of specimens posed.  One page contains a number of thumbnail to large-miniature chondrodite specimens from the find made nearly two years ago--there are a couple of VERY choice specimens in the lot  The second page contains a few interesting faden adularia specimens that I acquired in the Skardu District.

Click one of the images below to see more of either species!

9/2/06-  Gem Topaz. I met a man in Skardu who had a very nice lot of gem topaz crystals.  I purchased the entire lot, and am now offering them in this update.  Virtually all are damage free, terminated, and have a rich, sherry color.  Click here to view the specimens!

8/29/06-  Afghanite!  While in Pakistan I stumbled across a miner who had stashed away a large lot of exceptional pieces from the 2001 find. I purchased the entire lot, and am now offering a selection from those pieces.  Almost all are sharp and translucent, and several are even double terminated.  Click here to view the specimens!

8/20/06-  I have just returned from northern Pakistan with several hundred specimens.

Over the next few weeks, I will be posting a number of these pieces.  Included in the updates will be Afghan and Pakistani tourmalines, afghanite, chondrodite, topaz, aquamarine, new reticulated rutiles and blue apatite, and a number of other rare and unusual specimens.

5/29/06-  A number of specimens posted, including a very fine Daoping pyromorphite, several bolivian rarities, a couple new Rowley Mine diaboleites, and more.  Click here to view the specimens!

IMG_3360.JPG (110256 bytes)

2/28/04- Afghanite specimens posted.  Click here to view them.  Also, still more minerals to come- new finds from Russia, Brazil, and other South American countries, as well as Chinese chalcotrichite, and various mixed minerals.
