APM12 Autunite
Nanjingqiao U deposit, Pingjiang Co., Yueyang Prefecture, Hunan Province, China
4.8x 4.0x 3.1 cm
$680

A spectacular autunite specimen from China, of all places.  The quality of these autunites seems to be improving, though good ones are few and far between.  This one has an almost greenish color that only becomes better if it is viewed in daylight, as these are highly fluorescent, even reacting to the UV in ordinary sunlight.

I really want to stress how significant these pieces are-- there has not been anything like this recovered since the 1960's, at the Daybreak Mine in Washington state, and compared to those, this piece has better color, while being probably 1/3 the price.

This has been stabilized (and I'm assuming most of you know already, but just in case: it is radioactive.)
