A chunky hedenbergite crystal from the Huanggang Mine. Hedenbergite is a common accessory mineral int his mine-- it frequently occurs as a coating or matrix component with more desirable minerals. These were collected early in the discoveries at Huanggang, I'm guessing there is a lot more down there but the miners probably focus on things like fluorite, ilvaite, or quartz.
