A thumbnail sized specimen of saturated pink liddicoatite tourmaline from recent finds at the famous Anjanabonoina pegmatites. Although one of the oldest and best known localities for Malagasy tourmaline, his locality has been somewhat sleepy for the last several years, producing intermittent phenacite, danburite, and larger, dark crystals for slicing. This comes from a recent pocket of deep colored crystals that was discovered late last year.
