The best thumbnail I was able to obtain from this new find featuring a spray of fine pink liddicoatite crystals attached to a bit of albite.
Good examples are something of a novelty for the location--the area produces mainly prisms. I had seen only a couple in the past but never quite as good as the ones from this find. And of course, given their relative delicateness, they tend to get destroyed.
This piece has particularly good form, and overall balance. I consider it the second best from the group I was able to obtain-- and only because the other is larger.
