STN1- Stannite, Arsonopyrite
Yaogangxian Mine, Chenzhou, Hunan Prov., China
4.5x 3.3x 2.1 cm
$325

A hemispherical cluster of large stannite crystals, with minor arsenopyrite.  Stannite is a rare iron, copper, tin mineral that in recent years has turned up in Bolivia (Potosi), as well as at Yaogangxian.

This is a particularly rich spcimen, and quite beautiful for such a rare mineral.

STN2- Stannite
Yaogangxian Mine, Chenzhou, Hunan Prov., China
3.4x 2.3x 2.0 cm
$185

Like the above, another cluster of stannite crystals.  The individual crystals are larger on this specimen (to 1.5 cm) but the specimen itself is a little smaller.  Either way, it is a superb thumbnail of the species.

STN3- Stannite
Yaogangxian Mine, Chenzhou, Hunan Prov., China
4.9x 4.1x 3.8 cm
$150

Another cluster of stannite crystals, this one ball-shaped and perched on a cluster of quartz crystals.  The main crystals are terminated.

CCST1- Siderite and Sphalerite ps. Calcite
Aggenys mine, Northern Cape Prov., South Africa
5.4x 5.2x 4.1 cm
$265

These were first presented at Munich 2006, and were again made available by only one dealer at this year's Tucson show.

This specimen is actually hollow--it consists of a siderite/sphalerite cast, which has retained the shape of the calcite crystal that it once enclosed.  Not strictly a pseudomorph, but a very interesting specimen never the less.

CCST2- Siderite and Sphalerite ps. Calcite
Aggenys mine, Northern Cape Prov., South Africa
8.2x 5.3x 2.8 cm
$225

Like the above, except a larger cluster.  All the "crystals" are completely hollow, the calcite crystals once beneath the siderite/sphalerite coating having been completely dissolved away.
