Tourmaline!

The following specimens are from lots I purchased last year in Pakistan.  The pegmatites of Kunnar and Nuristan in northeast Afghanistan are known for their tourmalines, and below is a selection of specimens from these localities, as well as the Gilgit-Skardu area.  There are bicolors, tricolors, rubellites, schrols, and even a gem indicolite. I've also thrown a small Brazilian uvite into the mix...
