Custom Acrylic Bases!

We are pleased to announce that we can now offer custom bases, for a fraction of the price!

We have partnered with a local craftsman to provide this service—unfortunately because we are now in China we can only offer this for specimens purchased from us, at the time of purchase.  Please note, this is only available for specimens that we ship from China.

If you are interested in a custom base, please mention this when you are ordering—if the specimen is a good candidate we can discuss positioning and go from there.

PRICING

There are four price/ size categories: small, medium, large, and extra large. The overwhelming majority of specimens on this website fall into the medium category.

Small (under 5 cm):      $48

Medium (5.1-10 cm):   $68

Large (10.1-16 cm):     $98

Extra Large (16+ cm): $135

These are hand carved, you can see the level of detail in the pictures below.  Please note: these do not have labels engraved.
