A great example of fluorite on stibnite from the Banpo Mine. Although old discoveries exist from Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, and this mine, this unusual combination is not frequently encountered-- it has been at least several years since the last time this type of material was found at Banpo.
This is probably one of the more scupural examples with two sprays of thick, silvery stibnite crystals covered in faintly purple to colorless fluorite, on a dark, contrasting matrix. From behind, you can also see some twisting along the c-axis of at least one of the main stibnite crystals (you can see this from the font also, under the fluorite), along with a dusting of some yellow antinomy mineral (stibiconite?) that adds additional contrast.
