A double terminated fluorite-included quartz crystal from the 2005 find. I have been to Madagascar twice in the time between then and now, and never saw more than a few little shards of this material available there.
At the Main Show this year however, one French dealer had a small group of held-back pieces with fairly sizable inclusions, so I picked out the better ones.
A couple of the lateral faces have been polished, I usually stay away from pieces that have any alterations, but in the case of these specimens it makes it easier to see and appreciate the blue-purple fluorites. I particularly liked the pieces from this group because ONLY a couple faces had been polished-- most of those I had seen in the past were polished all the way around.
