An old sample of tetrahedrite on quartz from Romania-- in the 80's and 90's these mines were as prolific as the Peruvian ones today, but over the last decade most have been closed.  Tetrahedrite was never especially common from the area, but this is a pretty good example.  Today, most of the pieces you are likely to find are from Peru.
