JCL44 Tetrahedrite, Ferberite and Bournonite on Quartz
Julcani Dist., Angaraes Prov., Huancavelica Prov., Peru
8.3x 7.5x 4.7 cm
$225

For the past several years the Julcani mine has produced little of note-- mainly just arsenopyrite.  The mine is notable for its odd sulfide combinations-- occasionally throwing mineralogical curve balls.

This cabinet sized specimen consists of ferberite and large tetrahedrite crystal, largely overgrown by small bournonite cogwheels.

It's a very interesting piece-- if you like sulfides, this is quite interesting.
