The specimens on this page are all from the
find of late 2004. The crystals produced rival even those from Norway and
the Alps, and certainly surpass the majority of the Ural and Brazilian
specimens.
These are not from the same area as most other
Pakistani specimens. The aquamarines, tourmalines, etc. come from the
Northwest Frontier Province, Gilgit, Skardu, and Baltistan, the last two being
the provinces that comprise Kashmir. These anatase crystals, and the brookite
that has been coming out of the region, are from the desert area in the southern
Baluchistan province.

lot, this cabinet piece has a 1.1 cm anatase crystal
perched on a matrix of quartz and feldspar. The
crystal has no damage, sharp edges, and is perfectly
exposed. It could be trimmed into a killer miniature.
