A very large kunzite crystal from Afghanistan. At its thickest point, The
crystal itself is approximately 2 cm thick and backs against an albite
matrix (which is why I have not photographed it from the other side.) The
crystal is terminated, and is host to a terminated quartz crystal.
There is admittedly a bit of damage around the edges, but
even so this is a remarkably large crystal, for the price. |
