Mineral Backgrounds

Here are some pictures of minerals from my own collection, and of some offered on the website.  I thought they looked nice, so I took these pictures in a resolution that would be suitable for a desktop background.   I'm assuming you all already know how to set these as you background, but just in case: download the picture, they are all .JPG's, and right click on the file and select "Set as Desktop Wallpaper", or open up the file, right click on the picture,  and select the same thing.  To make it fit your screen exactly, right click on the desktop, select properties, click the desktop tab, and under position, select "stretch".  If you would like me to make a background out of a mineral that you see on the site, e-mail me. I'll try to add more as time goes on. Enjoy!

Click on the picture to download the file.  They are about 300kb in size.
