A cabinet specimen that I purchased from a French field collector.  It consists of a layer of almost botryoidal pyromorphite covering  its matrix, and grades from yellow on one side, to green.  There are also many small secondary crystals that have grown over the initial layer--you can see them in the close-ups. 

This is a very unusual pyro-- it certainly stands out among other Asprieres pieces. In fact, it is the only such specimen I have ever seen.
