A specimen of Chessy cuprite that has NOT pseudomorphed to malachite.  Strangely enough, it is much harder to obtain a cuprite from Chessy, than it is to obtain one of the green malachite pseudomorphs.  In person, this thing looks like a brown garnet, but under the strong lighting conditions of the photograph, red flashes become visible.
